Celebrating the opening of BSG new Early Years Centre

04-09-2025

BSG proudly opens its new Early Years Centre for children aged 3–5, offering bright spaces, outdoor play and an EYFS curriculum that nurtures curiosity and growth.

We are thrilled to announce the official opening of the British School of Geneva’s brand-new Early Years Centre!

Designed specifically for children aged 3–5, our specially-designed Early Years Centre offers a warm, stimulating, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. With bright, spacious classrooms, dedicated outdoor play areas, and a curriculum rooted in the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we are proud to provide the very best start to every child’s educational journey.

Ms Dara Evans, BSG Head of Primary and EYFS said:

The brand new BSG EYFS learning centre is a result of a 2-year vision and careful planning. It is a beautiful, open and light area with everything our youngest learners need to succeed and for their own needs to be met. Parents throughout the whole school have expressed how truly fantastic this area is and it is thanks to our wonderful EYFS team who value learning through play, experience and making connections above all else.

The new Learning Centre at BSG, is a wonderful self-contained unit that allows us to accommodate students from 3 to 5 years old in purposely staged environment that allows us to reflect true EYFS practice. In keeping with Reggio Emilia and a child centered approach the unit allows children to learn through play, curiosity and build upon their interests. Led by experienced early years staff who value the importance of real life and natural resources and a language-based environment. We are really looking forward to exploring the unit with the children and developing relationships and connections as we do so. We come to school excited to learn and explore as much as the children do. We have been truly delighted by the reaction of our colleagues and parents with the presentation or the new unit and know this is a great opportunity for everyone involved.

Located in central Geneva and very close to the United Nations Headquarters as well as the new Quartier de l’Etang in Vernier, our Early Years Centre welcomes both international and local families looking for a British education with strong French provision in Geneva.

We invite families to book a private tour and experience the difference for themselves.
