To receive an award, a student must achieve the highest raw mark and the highest possible grade in a single subject within their cohort. The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards programme categorizes excellence into three distinct geographic levels: Highest Mark in the World: Given to the learner who scores the highest absolute mark globally for that subject. Highest Mark in the Region: Awarded to the top scorer across a broader geographic region (e.g., Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia). Highest Mark in the Country: Awarded to the top scorer within an individual nation In 2025, BSG students received no fewer than 13 OPLAs, a testament to the high quality of teaching and learning that is a hallmark of our school.
